Use this address for issues about the Child Growth Lab website, content, or tools. It is not a medical consultation or a channel for diagnosis, personal result interpretation, treatment, feeding plans, medication, prescriptions, or referral decisions.
What you can report
- A calculation, threshold, or boundary that appears incorrect.
- A unit, date-handling, rounding, or displayed-result problem.
- A source, citation, broken-link, or outdated-wording concern.
- An accessibility barrier or browser/device/layout issue.
- A privacy concern or unexpected data transmission.
- A safe technical or security concern.
Do not send identifiable child health data
Please do not email a child's name, complete actual date of birth, address, school, contact details, record or insurance identifiers, diagnosis records, medications, laboratory reports, medical images, photographs, videos, or full longitudinal growth records.
When a software issue needs an example, prefer fictional, synthetic, or de-identified inputs. The site does not need a real child's record to reproduce a site or calculation problem.
What to include in a useful report
For most site issues, include only what is relevant:
- The page URL, calculator, or guide name.
- What you did and what happened.
- What you expected to happen.
- Browser, device, screen size, or assistive technology when relevant.
- A minimal synthetic or de-identified example when needed.
- An official source link when disputing a formula or content claim.
This is a helpful checklist, not a submission gate.
Reporting a calculation issue
A useful calculation report may include:
- The page URL and calculator name.
- The selected Metric or US-unit mode.
- The browser, device, and operating system when relevant.
- The displayed result and the result you expected.
- An official source or independent recomputation supporting the expectation.
- Minimal, repeatable steps that reproduce the behavior safely.
Prefer fictional, synthetic, or de-identified inputs. A date issue can use example dates unrelated to an actual child. Remove names, account details, precise birth information, and other identifiers from screenshots. Do not attach complete medical records.
Reporting a content or source issue
A useful content or evidence report identifies:
- The page URL and section heading.
- The specific sentence that may be inaccurate, outdated, or unclear.
- Why the wording or source may need review.
- The official source title and direct link.
- The guideline, dataset, or paper version and publication date when available.
A commercial calculator, blog, or search summary can be a lead, but it cannot by itself override an official or original source. Age range, chart, source version, measurement method, or clinical purpose may explain an apparent difference.
Accessibility, privacy, and security reports
Include the URL, browser and operating system, assistive technology when used, screen size or device, repeatable steps, expected behavior, and actual behavior.
Describe a privacy concern without sending additional sensitive health information. For security concerns, provide a minimal safe description. Do not send passwords, API keys, session tokens, credential dumps, or malicious files, and do not attempt to access, alter, disrupt, or damage systems or data that do not belong to you.
Child Growth Lab does not claim to operate a formal vulnerability-reward program, safe harbor, dedicated security team, or guaranteed security response. Reports can be sent tosupport@childgrowthlab.com.
Do not send sensitive information
No web form is provided because the site does not actively invite sensitive child health data. Email may pass through email providers and normal network infrastructure; it is not a secure medical portal. This is a product boundary, not a claim that all email is universally insecure.

What happens after a report
A site-related report may proceed through these steps:
- Reproduce or verify the report.
- Check the relevant source, implementation, or wording.
- Determine the affected scope.
- Add or update regression coverage where practical.
- Correct the issue and rerun release validation.
- Verify Production and update the affected review date if the change is substantive.
Not every report results in a change. A report that cannot be reproduced or lacks sufficient evidence may remain under investigation.
